While out for a walk, Maeve is kidnapped by Norseman who believe she has been sent by the god Thor as a sacrifice to the Gulien Demon.

Doubar: What’s up the shore here?
Firouz: A rocky coast—treacherous for any boat travel. Oh yes—and the cave of the Gulien demon!
Doubar: Oh great. What’s a day without something demonic.

Sinbad: What kind of demon is this?
Norseman: Like all of them—in need of killing.

Sinbad: So… you and… Eyolf got close.
Maeve: And what exactly are you asking?
{After Meave walks away, Sinbad turns to his crew who are watching}
Sinbad: Don’t look at me that way. It was simply a… a simple question. {they laugh} What? I can’t ask a simple question?

POINTS TO PONDER

All I can say is that the Gulien Demon looks HILARIOUS. It resembles some sort of bubble gum monster. I think when they stabbed it, it should have imploded, covering everything in a thick gelatinous blue goo.
