HILARIOUS SPECIAL EFFECT MOMENTS

QUOTES
Firouz: To be a genius is to be misunderstood.
Maeve: I think you hurt Firouz's feelings.
Doubar: Well his last invention nearly cost me my beard. Solar powered hair trimmer. It nearly turned my head into a torch!

Sinbad: Well, I used to be a pretty good wrestler. What's the harm?
Doubar: I don't know but I'm sure we're going to find out.
Sinbad: Oh, Doubar! [you silly goose]-implied not spoken

Sinbad: {while fighting to the death} You know you're pretty good with that club. { spoken in the background while Firouz and Doubar are busy talking} I've always wanted to use a club. It must take years to master.

Servant: The master requests your presence at dinner tonight.
Sinbad: Fine. Fine, certainly. Perhaps this master will discuss all of this in a more rational manner.
Servant: What would you like for your last meal.
~dramatic music~

Evil Guy: The heathen is a dead man, Sailor. But you—I might spare your life. If you beg for it.
Sinbad: I hate to be the one. That always spoils all your fun, but—in a word. Nooooo.

POINTS TO PONDER
Am I the only one who thought it was funny that Sinbad didn't invite the ronin to join his crew? I mean, they gave him the PERFECT set-up: The warrior tells him in the middle of a dramatic, wistful, heart-to-heart that "I've always dreamed of being a sailor"—yet how does our Hero respond? Sinbad hands him a small boat, oversized sailor clothes, and basically says, "Good luck! Hope your tiny boat doesn't get capsized by one of those huge waves." At which point, he proceeds to warn him [in so many words] that his supplies will run out in two weeks, so he better hurry if he wants to realize his dream. haha, yet another reason why I LOVE Sinbad.
